The company initially tested this service in Phoenix last year. Following positive results, Amazon is now rolling it out nationwide in key markets. Prime members continue to receive free same-day delivery on orders over $25 where the service is available. Non-Prime customers can also access the service but must pay a $12.99 delivery fee for same-day convenience. This move aims to simplify the online grocery shopping experience and shorten delivery windows. Customers benefit from both variety, speed, and enhanced flexibility. Making Amazon a more attractive option compared to traditional grocery chains and local delivery services.

Amazon Targets Grocery Market Growth With Strategic Expansion

Amazon’s grocery ambitions have grown steadily since acquiring Whole Foods Market in 2017. Since then, it has introduced several initiatives, including cashier-less checkout technology and Amazon-branded grocery stores.
